A New Day is Breaking

There are many articles about domestic violence, but how much do we pay attention to it?
Unfortunately, most of us, men, women and children, just think we would never be caught up in such situation. However, most common than we can think domestic violence infiltrates our homes, invade our relationships, and destroys many lives.

My purpose in keeping this blogging is to speak-out, open-up and split the guts of this harmful behavior in order to help you and I to fight against it. The more we know, the better and more prepared we become. So, if you want to share your thoughts and feelings, or even your knowledge it will enrich the discussion and it will be a win-win situation.

  1. I think this is a superb idea. Yes, there are many articles out there on this subject... But like the wise man once said, "The only book that won't help you is the one you don't read."

In my opinion, the worst kind of violence or abuse of any kind, is the type that happens inside one's home. If a bully harasses you at school, you can always go home and find peace. But where do you go when the bully you face lives with you?

It breaks my heart to hear the stories of people being abused, especially when they're right at home. Like you said, men, women, children, teenagers, old people... everybody is a target, and nobody deserves it. But like the wise man also said, "The most powerful weapon we can all carry is education."

While I'm no expert or experienced person on the subject, I do invest a significant amount reading up on and researching this subject. And while we can't all break into every abusive home and rescue every abused person, by sharing thoughts, articles, ideas, stories, etc. we can help some, and hopefully make a difference in a human life.

    Thanks

  2. You are right, unfortunately we cannot save every single victim of abuse. However, like you said "knowledge is power". The more someone knows what is going on, and that it is not right to be abused, and there is a way out, the more empowered this person will be to fight back.

However, we need more people who cares, to support, to share, to understand the problem. Thanks for your support dear.
